I'd like to welcome back all of our returning Schiel families and say welcome to our new student families! You have definitely joined an awesome school. We have an excellent staff and great parents! We're very excited about this school year. We have many exciting things planned and a tremendous amount of learning to take place. The parent center is stocked and waiting for you to stop by. Please stop in and sign-up for volunteering here at Schiel. Also, when you come into the building to help, please come to the parent center to sign in. This insures that your name will be entered in the monthly volunteer drawing for gift cards. This year, we will have Kroger cards and gas cards! (Now, who couldn't use those?) Our Friends of Schiel and the parent center work together to incorporate our school community. We have many things planned to benefit our community here at Schiel P.S.A.E. Be looking for exciting news to come!
Tammy Heidler The Parent Center has many books and materials to assist you. Books may be checked out by parents at any time, but must be returned within 2 weeks. There are many books available for parents to read with their child. Besides wonderful books to read for pleasure, there are great books that are math related, books that deal with divorce, anger, adoption, and much more. Materials are available to help with reading and math such as math worksheets, flash cards, bingo games and letter puzzles. The Parent Center, also, has information to assist you with housing, food pantries, utilities, community centers, and other social services. Schiel PSAE is always looking for volunteers to help at school. |
