2008-2009 OAT Test Results
We just received our 2008-2009 OAT Test Scores and Schiel has received an EXCELLENT rating on the State Report Card for the second year in a row! Our Math score was 93%! A gain of 14% over last year. Our Reading score was 92.5%! A gain of 6.2% over last year! A two year gain of 30.0% in Reading and a 21.6% in Math. Our AYP Reading target was 77% and we scored 90.3%. 13.3% over the goal! Our AYP Math target was 68.5% and we scored 90.3%. 24.8% over the goal! We had 100% participation rate! Congratulations team Schiel!!!

Schiel Primary School for Arts Enrichment's mission is teaching
academics to meet promotion standards with an emphasis on
enriching that teaching through the arts. Our goal is to integrate the
arts and academics to provide an education that stimulates the
many intelligence's of our students.

- Tuesday, November 10: FOS Meeting - 4:15 PM
- Friday, November 13: letter of Intent to attend SCPA are due.
- Wednesday, November 18: Open Enrollment
- Thursday, November 19: Grade 2 Show 2:15 PM - In school performance 7:00 PM - Evening performance
- Friday, November 20: "Dress Up Day"! Evaluations for Grade 3 students entering SCPA. Kindergarten Trip to Run-Jump-N-Play
- Monday, November 23: Suzuki Strings Concert - St. Monica-St. George Church 7:00 PM
- Tuesday, November 24: Suzuki Strings in school concert - 2:15 PM
- November 25 - November 29 Thanksgiving vacation.
School Hours: 9:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Students will NOT be permitted into the building before 8:50 a.m. unless they have a scheduled lesson. Students must be picked up by 4:00 p.m. if they are NOT riding a bus. No exceptions!
